Here are the latest Tips, Tricks and Fixes in Skyward:
1. Create at least one event (assignment) for each skill. This should give you an overall grade for the subject.
2. Remember that the grades are weighted. So if you have given a total of 100 points in spelling, each of your other skills in reading should total at least 100 points in order to count each skill equally.
3. Guided Reading Levels have a number attached to it. Just disregard this number. Reading Levels should stay put after you enter them this time.
4. The explanation of guided reading levels should be correct this term. If not, let me know.
5. “m” modification is an option in all events, skills and subjects.
6. You should also see an option for NA this term.
7. 5th and 6th grade report cards should show the explanation in the number boxes at the top for the letter grades A,B,C, etc.
8. If any of you have run a report and looked at your report cards this term, let me know. Hopefully all the fields are there. If you see any problems, please let me know right away, so that they can be corrected.
